My Puppers!

A fun fact about this song is that it has all three of my dogs’ barks in it! I thought it would be cool to use their barks in a song one day, so I recorded them with my voice memos app. This was many, many years ago. I didn’t know this was going to be the song for them when I first had the idea, but it ended up being a perfect fit. They are who inspired the lines, “listen to how you’re barking at me,” and “why don’t you go bark at someone else.”

My dogs meant the absolute world to me. In October of 2022, I said goodbye to my last baby. It has been difficult for me, so it is very special that every time I listen to this song I get to hear them again.
